Aquarela Dance Group and Samba School was founded in 1986 with the goal of promoting Brazilian culture and Carnaval throughout the San Francisco Bay area and beyond through costume, music, and dance. Since its inception Aquarela has been under the artistic leadership of Maria Amabilis Souza. Aquarela is managed by Stefan Hemmerich, P.O.Box\r\n10850 MS/S3-1, Palo Alto, CA 94303, U.S.A.
